Jan and Minnie Le Roux from the Humphries farm are breeding with thoroughbred Friesian horses. It has always been Jan Le Roux's dream to be a farmer with black horses that can also pull horse-drawn carts. No other horse breed has been so close to Jan's ideal as the Friesian with its royal appearance, proud stature, good temperament and exceptional characteristics suited to both riding as well as pulling carts.
